Large scale paintings. I’ve never seen her work before. First I’ve heard of her. I loved her work. I felt her painting style was very confident and active. I liked her use of color on 2 of the paintings. I liked how she combined so many different colors and still had the piece harmonize. Her ability to combine a multitude of figures and faces doing so many different things was remarkable. There were some watercolors on the side. I felt they could have left those out. I feel that those are somewhat the starting point or preparatory drawings for the larger oil paintings. I’m interested to learn more about her process and see older works.
